Meet Alison —- she is a freshman in the Orangeville area. We got together a week ago to capture some fun images! I have known Ali’s family for quite some time – I remember when her mom was pregnant with her — which REALLY makes me feel old ! but lets not dwell on that.

We had a great time , even shot a few of her new puppy ‘Brook’ !! and we explored Orangeville just a little more to find area’s neither of us had seen or been near before. . . . . all in all a great day ! Please enjoy some of the images!!

Everyone needs some . . .

I think especially in this digital age of twitter and facebook we all need portraits of ourselves. And I am not just talking about holding the camera as far back as you can and smile * oops cut off most of my head… try again *

We all do that but I think getting a fresh portrait of yourself is a good self image booster and then you spice up your online presence a little more – no harm in that! I am going for a portrait session for new images of MOI over the July long weekend. Will it be different to be infront of the camera instead of behind it… SURE WILL … but man am I excited for some new photos’ of myself. Maybe even Mr Mowgli will make an appearance in them. *** stay tuned ***

I received a call from a great woman asking just that – wanting some fresh new images of herself taken. Sooo introducing LeighAnne !

Rockin’ out with Gibson

I’m not sure what was in the water last year but there has been a SURGE of new babies this year and I have been so happy to meet so many of this next generation of little people. I took a drive out to Oshawa to meet up with Little man Gibson and his parents Ashley & Dean.

It was sooo worth the drive because this little man was ready for his photo debut. Hoping Gibson follows in his fathers musical footsteps – we incorporated some drum sticks and a snare drum.

I hope I get to capture all these kids a few more times while they are growing up and watch them become something great.

Princess Madison

So back on family day in February I photographed Little man Aiden – and Ryan told me how his brother was also having a baby in a few months, which I thought was fabulous! Having a cousin the same age so you can grow up together - Although these brother didn’t plan it, I think the timing worked great!

Princess Madison was just over 4 weeks old when I met her for her first official portrait session and she did great! Beautiful big eyes watching everything around her. It was a pleasure meeting this little princess and her excited family.

One of my favorite parks in Barrie is Sunnidale so when Laura & I were discussing location spots for their engagement session I was thrilled this was one of the options and she agreed!!

So we met on the beautiful friday of the long weekend for their E-shoot. There was so much traffic around Barrie – everyone trying to get to their long weekend destinations but we toned out that hustle and bustle for some really cute moments.

I met Laura & Todd at one of the Collingwood Bridal shows that Laura’s sister was organizing.

Laura’s sister Jennifer owns a great bridal store in Collingwood – www.exchangingvowsbridal.com So I’m pretty excited to see what type of dress Laura has for her big day!

Nyall & Heather E Session

I haven’t been to the Elora Gorge for YEARS …. So when Heather mentioned she was hoping for pictures there, I was excited! Then they took me to the stairs . . . . . I almost wanted to rethink the location and fast but we made the trek down the stairs and it was beautiful and I didn’t regret that decision until we went to go back UP the stairs…..

But regardless – we had a great time! Heather & Nyall were nice enough to let me catch my breath before we rambled on about their upcoming big day!

Little Mr. Malakye

I seem to be photographing a lot of little girls lately and I thought it was about time I got to capture an adorable little boy. This little man was actually 7 weeks when I finally got to meet him — his name is Malakye.

I love new parents. They are just sooo excited to show off there new bundle of joy. They can’t contain there own giggles or tears when they see them in some of the poses - and to see Malakye’s mommy & daddy watch their prince was just another moment I got to share with new parents. I’m so thankful for what I do and happy that they will forever remember him the way he was at that age of his life.

Although I’m not a parent, I have many little people that I’m very close to — all those little people know they mean the world to me. Everytime I get to capture a newborn I feel like i’m giving a bit more of my love to other ‘little people’ and I know that I will remember little Malakye for years to come. So I hope you enjoy some of my favorite images and you can see why I want to remember this little man.

Emily & Ryan E-Session

We have been having some crazy April weather here in Ontario over the past few weeks – 1 day it is 20 degree’s another day its snowing. The date that was booked for Emily & Ryan turned out to be the freezing cold /almost snowing day. However we managed thru the blistering wind. Emily was brave enough to even wear sandles and a short sleeved shirt for some of the shots!

Emily & Ryan are getting married at the end of June in Collingwood. They are a fabulous & adorable couple, and I’m so excited to capture their wedding day.
